Legendary and pioneering Los Angeles producer Dwayne “Muffla” Simon has returned to the music scene after years of retirement. The former Uncle Jamms Army DJ and LA Posse producer made history by co-producing LL Cool J’s “Bigger and Deffer” album along with DJ Pooh, DJ Bobcat, and Big Dad and then went out to produce for various acts before deciding to step away to be a football coach. Music remains in his blood, however, and the West Coast legend has taken his rightful place behind the boards once again to bring you Suspicious Packages 2, a new compilation album from his company Covert Entertainment.
The lead single from this project is “LA w/ that OOHLALA” which features veteran artist Young Maylay who has worked with Ice Cube and WC, and fellow LA artist Nutt Case. Take a listen!
