(Antioch, CA) – Bred in the Bay and having frequented ATL for several years in his youth, SODMG affiliated rapper Paul Allen has been through the ups and downs of trying to reach the top of the rap game. All cliches aside, Paul Allen left home with nothing as a minor and was caught up in the world of the streets and drug dealing at an early age of 17. Now years later at 25, after losing close friends and nearly his own life to the streets, Paul Allen is bouncing back from his legal troubles and is making a real push to tell his story.

While making his share of change on “The Strip” in Vegas where he now resides, Paul’s affiliation with SODMG afforded him the opportunity to learn the craft from Soulja Boy and other big artists that recorded with Soulja. Finesse Kid is an embodiment of Paul’s growth over that time and captures the essense of his development as an artist. Finesse Kid is set to feature Soulja Boy and other artists and will be debuting online this Fall.

“I got all my legal stuff behind me and now I’m 100% focused on the music at this point. I’m leaving that old life behind me. Everything is organic with me, I kept working and working and working on getting better at rap, but something in my mind told me to just keep learning and working with and learning from artists like Soulja Boy and other multiplatinum artists. Now I have my own project Finnesse Kid coming out soon, and I think it show’s that growth and development as an artist,” Paul Allen explained.
