(Richmond, CA) – It’s been a big year for The Bay with an NBA Championship finally landing back in Northern Cali with a Golden State Warriors victory this past June. Since then everyone in the Bay seemingly has a winning mentality and rapper Big Cheeze is no different.

With a French Montana feature in the chamber Big Cheeze is looking to finish the summer strong, kicking things off with a track dubbed “Bad Behavior,” which is currently getting spin on Sirius/XM Radio.

While Big Cheeze is getting radio spin only recently, Big Cheeze has been planning his come up for years. Even as a young kid, Big Cheeze had aspirations to be in the rap game and found ways to surround himself with the music.

As a kid, Shock G of Digital Underground and 2Pac were recording at a local studio in his neighborhood. The guys took him to McDonalds a took him under their wing as he frequented the studio often from that day on.

“I’ve been around, I’ve done songs with Birdman, Master P, Snoop, a lot of cats, but right now I’m getting ready to release this new single with French Montana. This new single “Bad Behavior” has no features and I think it will show what I can do. These aren’t paid features, this is me in the studio with these guys and us putting something together in the studio,” Big Cheeze explained.

While Big Cheeze has worked with the greats and some of the hottest talent out now, he says he’s focused on bringing rap back to a time when Biggie was rapping. Big Cheeze is focused on lyrics and the mood of the music, as opposed to all the trapped out lyrics that glorify the dope game.

“I don’t talk all that trap stuff, I’m trying to bring it back to that pimp sh*t. I’m trying to sell records not sell dope. I want to be a mainstream artist. I got some producers from The Legion, a production crew that’s real dope and they do most of my stuff, we a team and we work together on everything,” Big Cheeze said.
