#CellblockR&B @chrisbrown Passing Jail Time Singing With Inmate James DeBarge

It’s not all bad for Chris Brown in Jail. Reportedly he is passing his recently extended prison time by singing songs with fellow inmate James DeBarge.

Chris Brown, 25 had been having a tough time in jail but it seems like he might have found a bright spot in singing with fellow inmate James DeBarge. The 50-year-old R & B singer and Chris are reportedly hitting it off real well in prison and giving the whole cellblock something sweet to listen to.

Things are starting to look up for Breezy as he serves out his extended prison sentence in an LA county jail cell. Fellow inmate and R & B singer James has taken a liking to Chris, and the two have tapped into some kind of prison soul vibe.

The two stars are locked up side-by-side in the segregated unit for high profile inmates, reports TMZ.

According to TMZ, these two can’t see each other but they have been collaborating on music, and have written three songs together. That’s pretty amazing to us.

James was part of his family group DeBarge, one of the most popular 80′s R & B group of all time! Between 1984 and 1985 he was even married to Janet Jackson. Sadly, a drug addiction took over his life and that’s what landed him in jail alongside Chris.

Chris Sings With James To Pass The Time In Jail

Breezy is serving some extra time in the big house. He went before the judge for a hearing on May 9. At that time he had high hopes of getting out of prison and going home.

However, the ruling didn’t go like Chris had wished. A Los Angeles judge ended up sentencing Breezy to a full year in jail after determining that Chris violated his probation in the 2009 Rihanna assault case.

While in prison Chris has not been eating right, we learned exclusively, and had been having panic attacks. So maybe singing with James has lifted his spirits a little and given him some light at the end of a very dark tunnel?

HollywoodLifers, do you think Chris is finally starting to get used to being in jail, and do you think he’ll come out a better person than when he went in? Let us know what’s on your mind.
