*The Underground is working full time in Rap Music circles all across Compton, Long Beach, Watts and South Central Los Angeles, giving rise to a new generation of recording artists who have captured the ears of young people nation wide
The major recording companies for the last 10 years have only signed a select few of the Rap music artists coming out of the West Coast such as “Glasses Malone,” “Tyga” and Kendrick Lamar, but in 2014 all that has changed.
Major label representatives are now flocking to Los Angeles to find the genre’s next new Rap stars and they are tirelessly searching the hot new Independent, underground Rap music websites such as www.hiphopnd.com to get the jump on their competitors.
One such new artist that is making a major impact in the clubs and on the streets in Southern California is a 22 year old artist out of Long Beach known as “SNO” aka “GREEDY UNO.”
All through the streets of Compton, Long Beach, Watts and South Central California car stereos can be heard booming out the Twerking Inspired new music by “SNO” and it’s obvious to Rap fans and to the artist himself, that a new era of cooperation musically speaking between Compton and Long Beach is taking place once again in 2014.
Pursued by several record companies, “SNO” chose to sign with the new record company headed and owned by Lee Ford called “Tonestruck Records” because the artist believes the company “understands his music and his grind and he knows that if there is a “hit to get” that Lee Ford and Tonestruck Records will get it.” “SNO” states, “Lee Ford was born and raised in Compton and he has respect from coast to coast in these streets and he knows a street banger when he hears one and that’s why I’m excited to be a part of his team.” Currently putting the finishing touches on his debut project, “SNO” is enjoying the success his new single is getting in clubs throughout California entitled “Pool Full Of Paper” which was produced by “DJOB1.”
