In an interesting mix of street flavor and gospel rap, Ryzn (pronounced “risen”) from the city of Sacramento teams with West Coast vet Don Dubb and Lyfestyle from Inglewood to bring you “California”. Plenty of songs have been made about the golden state but this one here has more of a religious take without being too preachy. While the rhymes reflect more of a gospel view, the beat is a nice throwback to the good ol’ days of West Coast G-Funk.
